ZZ and Mark at Roundup With great sadness I had to put ZZ to sleep on Feb 9th 2003. He had been diagnosed with cancer about 6 months ago and finally lost the battle. Being involved with dogs for many years I have been there when many have passed on but ZZ was my first horse and this did not prepare me for what I had to do. I feel very lucky to have known him and could not have asked for a better horse. He was full of personality and the sweetest horse I have ever been around. I always new he would take care of me when we were out riding. We enjoyed riding at the cattle roundups but my favorite place was on the beach near Bodega Bay.I think he enjoyed that the most also. Those are memories I will always cherish. Mark |
